I had two different stains in mind. This was the test color that I went with. Notice the board is cut in two.

Front staining done. Little blob in the corner, but it’ll get covered.

Almost done. Hinges applied, paint on, polyurethane coat dried. Just needs one last piece.

Almost a year ago to the day i started making a street sign for some friends over at the Claremont Art Walk. While I think they’ve undergone some rad changes (and I still have to find my way back there…), the wife just pointed out to me that it’s still holding together like a champ. So In honor of an almost one year old, I’m posting some much belated pics of the sign.
