Paper Raptor

My wife always points out that kids get to have all the fun things and apart from a hint of Peter Pan syndrome I have to agree.

As a kid I made a lot of paper things. I remember when I had a model train set my mother bought me a book of buildings that had pre-printed card stock inside. Cutting and pasting the Wild West scenes was fun although maybe a little advanced for my young fingers. More recently I’ve seen paper toys floating just under the surface of cultural awareness, in most cases made by vinyl toy artists, that are really creative and fun. 3D  representations of creatures created from their own imagination.

With this latest Raptor release on Etsy, I’m joining in on the fun and trying to bring a piece of this childhood memory back from the archives in a way that both kids and adults can enjoy some ephemera.
